After a busy last few weeks with “Mistletoe” promo and TV appearances, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez headed to Cabo San Lucas Mexico for a little rest and relaxation.

But it wasn’t all fun and games as the couple was there to attend a private wedding for an old friend and costume designer Shannon Larossi from Selena’s TV days on “Wizards of Waverly Place”.

Justin didn’t bring any family along but Selena brought along her pregnant mother Mandy and her stepfather Brian.

The couple did find some time to snag a photographer and some sun tan lotion and hit the beach for a little sun worshiping.

Bieber was shirtless and showing off his tattoos while Selena was sporting a tiny blue bikini - and there probably wasn’t a cuter couple to be seen for a thousand miles.

However, this time the two lovebirds seemed to be able to keep their public display of affection to a minimum and gave the photog the good old fashion “celebrities on the beach” photo session.

Justin was just in Florida at Walt Disney World to kick of the holiday celebrations and also just released the official video for “Santa Clause is Coming to Town” music video.




The two love birds will return to Los Angeles in a few days and plan to split their time with family and friends in L.A., Atlanta, Stratford, and Texas for the Holidays.

Video - Devastated Justin Bieber Fans React in Monterrey Mexico – SOLD OUT

Wow.

Justin Bieber no sooner announced that tickets to his Monterrey Mexico concert were going on sale – and they sold out.

In 26 minutes.

That’s not what thousands of disappointed Mexican fans wanted to hear.

The following video shows what happens when you have been waiting in line for two days in 100 degree temperatures, and just when you get close to the front of the line – BAM.

Sold out. Your dreams are shattered.

Even though the video is in Spanish, devastated disappointment seems to be a universal language and it is very clear what is happening.

As we reported earlier, Bieber and his team have recently announced his My World tour dates for South America.

This leg of his tour is scheduled to start September 30th in Monterrey Mexico at the “Arena Monterrey”.

You can see the devastation on the faces of these kids so hopefully Mom and Dad will be grateful enough to drive them to Mexico City on October 1st or 2nd for one of Bieber’s two shows there.

Ah, the price of fame. Everybody wants you.

Justin Bieber Announces 2011 South American Tour Dates

This kid just won’t stop.

After completing close to 150 concert shows on his first My World tour, Justin Bieber has just announced his South American tour schedule for later this year.

Right now, the teen sensation is in Los Angeles putting the finishing touches on his new album “Believe”.

Insiders say you can expect a healthy dose of new songs on this leg of his tour as Justin tries them out on his Latin American fans before springing them on the American stage.

Bieber’s South American fans have been screaming for over a year wondering when the “Baby” hit maker would visit their part of the word.

Bieber told his fans on twitter,

"I'll see you, Brazil, Argentina, Peru and Chile, and all of you down there!"

Justin Bieber and his team have just announced the first round of his South American My World tour dates as follows.

• September 30th – Monterrey - Mexico


• October 1st and 2nd - Mexico City - Mexico


• October 5th - Río de Janeiro - Brazil


• October 8th - São Paulo - Brazil


• October 10th - Porto Alegre - Brazil


• October 12th and 13th - Buenos Aires - Argentina


• October 15th – Santiago - Chile


• October 17th - Lima - Peru


• October 22nd - Bogota – Columbia


• October 24th - Quito - Ecuador


• October 25th - Caracas - Venezuela

Just a little trivia here – every live concert show that Bieber has performed has been a SOLD OUT concert with the exception of his show at the Qwest Center in Omaha Nebraska.

And it was a 97% sellout.

Most shows sell out within 60 minutes of tickets going on sale.

When asked what fans can expect from this leg og the tour Bieber says,

"I want to show that I love to perform. There are going to be some cool tricks, some electronic things that haven't been seen before, for sure. You can expect just to have a great time. It's somewhere that you can just have a blast. It's a place where hopefully you can relate to the songs and stuff. So hopefully you guys love it."

Okay, we’re looking forward to seeing him back on the road again and we’re sure his Southern fans are equally excited.

Around Town - A Small Birthday Bash At La Sandia

My girlfriends and I have a tradition of celebrating each other's birthdays by going out to dinner.  Last night we had a great dinner party for my glamorous friend Lillian at La Sandia restaurant located upstairs at the new and improved Santa Monica Place.
You can't be a native southern Californian and not have an appreciation for fine Mexican food. It's nurture food for me because I've been noshing on it my entire life.  But strangely, here in Mexico Norte, or rather Los Angeles, great Mexican cuisine is actually difficult to find.  Mostly we have chain restaurants and taco stands. Fortunately, with Mexico City raised and Culinary Institute trained uber chef Richard Sandoval, we now have La Sandia.

Margarita's and freshly made guacamole were the first course....naturally. Followed by  shrimp ceviche and quesadillas and then entrees of traditional dishes of chile relleno, carnitas, soft tacos, etc.,
and of course more margaritas.

Dessert was a delicious trio of traditional Mexican sweets stepped up a notch with a sparkler.

La Sandia is now my local go to place for margaritas and quality Mexican food.

Hopefully, the next Richard Sandoval restaurant that I try will be Ketsi at the Four Seasons Hotel in Punta Mita.
