My Favorite Eye Liners

Saturday, October 22, 2011

I have a confession.

I'm addicted to eye liner. It's been an issue I've dealt with most of my makeup-wearing life. Most days, I feel naked without it. Even the tiniest amount can make me feel put-together.

There are SO many different types of eye liners out there and each type can do totally different things. Different looks require different types. Because of that, it's good to have a few different kinds in your collection.

Because I'm an eye liner addict, I've tried basically every kind out there (seriously) and have narrowed my "Favorite Eye Liners" list down to the following:

Maybelline Master Drama automatic pencil liner
MAC Fluidline
Loreal Carbon Black Lineur Intense
Maybelline Stiletto liner (great alternative to the hard-to-find liner above)
Lancome Art Liner
Make Up For Ever Aqualiner
Revlon Colorstay Liquid Eye Pen
Stila Kajal Eye Liner
MAC Fascinating Eye Khol

They all made my "favorites" for different reasons, of course. So be sure to watch my video below for more details on each one and how I like to use them.

"MAC Me Over" Collection Swatches & Review

Monday, September 5, 2011

I honestly had (still have) mixed feelings about this collection when I saw it for the first time. Lots of re-promoted and permanent colors, a three-part somewhat confusing concept, and a ton of items.

As I've had some time to play around with the items I have, I appreciate it more. While the colors at first glance seem pretty basic, there are some hidden gems. Seemingly "basic" shades that actually have a little something special or different about them. A quad that looks boring, but when applied, contains such a unique and wearable green and purple.

I admit, when I actually used the products, I was surprised.

Oh and I can't forget all the shades work especially well for Fall.

The concept of the collection... still a bit fuzzy to me. But we won't get into all that.

Here are the items I have from the collection. Keep in mind, this isn't the complete collection, just the items I have.

Also, be sure to check out my video review of these items at the bottom of the post.

e.l.f. Products Review

Monday, March 28, 2011

I recently renewed my e.l.f. stock and spent a little more than 20$ on a handful of products whose review I bring in this article.

e.l.f. Studio Makeup Mist & Set
. Since I have oily skin and my make-up is difficult to maintain without a base and fixator, I decided to try this fixator in spray. In a 40 ml bottle is a transparent liquid with a pump. I must admit that the spray does not work too well, so when you apply this fixator you should keep the bottle away from your face (I almost stretch out my hand) to dissipate it without liquid droplets on the face. Let it dry for a few seconds, and the results are visible, but not very fascinating. Fixator prolongs the life of makeup for an hour or two max. I believe that this will function for girls who have less oily skin. Its advantage is that, after application, the powder looks wonderful. Price: $3,00.

e.l.f. Studio Makeup Mist & Set

e.l.f. Essentials Nail Polish. I was so delighted that this cheap nail polish is so great. Besides the beautiful shades (purple with silvery-purple fine glitter, black glitter with colorful coral and a beautiful shade of golden glow), the resistance of this nail polish is really excellent. Two coats give an effect as in the bottle, the only objection is to the plugs that look really cheap and plastic and you feel that it can't be closed. In any case, something that is definitely worth a try! Shades: Metal Madness, Party Purple, Coral. Price: $1,00.

e.l.f. Essentials Natural Lash Kit
. I like to buy lashes, although I actually use them very rarely. So no I have not tried this, but I like the shape and texture. Not too long, and the lashes seem natural, therefore there is no gloss plastic, and are of unequal length, which in turn contributes to naturalness. Strap that holds the lashes together works very flexible, so I believe that there will be problems with the application. Price: $1,00.

e.l.f. Essentials Natural Lash Kit

e.l.f. Studio Blush, Pink passion. I always wanted a bright pink, almost fluorescent shade of blush, so I was delighted when he finally arrived. Specifically, a bright pink hue will lift most neutral make-up and act very naturally - actually flushed pink, and not peachy. Hue is completely matte and very pigmented, and looks beautiful on the cheeks looks. Unfortunately, blush is not too stable, so if you don't touch your face during the day, it will last longer. Price: $3,00.

e.l.f. Essentials Luscious Liquid Lipstick
, Perfect Pink. This gloss has become my favorite lip gloss ever in a month. I carry it in my purse and regularly apply. Specifically, from all glosses which I own (and I have lots of gloss because I like to emphasize my eyes) this one, and Lancome Juicy Tubes lip gloss, which is ridiculously expensive, don't accumulate on the edge of the lips. Applicator is in the form of a small pad with a few holes, so applying is very easy and convenient. I definitely plan to buy another shade! Price: $1,00.

e.l.f. Essentials Luscious Liquid Lipstick

e.l.f. Studio Eyebrow Treat & Tame, Dark shade. Looking for a product that will fix my eyebrows and darken, for example when you don't have the will nor the time to apply make up and just want to slightly fix your face, I decided to try this product. And I was disappointed. I don't use a transparent part (Treat) intended for eyebrow care, because I don't see the purpose (unless you're trying to grow your eyebrows), and with the brown part, which comes with a brush similar to that of the mascara I was not impressed. The applicator is imprecise and stocky, and the product ultimately ends up everywhere, not just on the eyebrows. This is a pity because the color is excellent. Price: $3,00.

Life-Changing Skin Product- Origins Vitazing Moisturizer Review

Sunday, March 13, 2011

But seriously, this stuff is amazing! It takes a whole lot for me to be impressed with a moisturizer, so this is big.
Check out my video below for a full review of the Origins Vitazing moisturizer.

Sensa Weight Loss - Does It Really Work?

Tuesday, February 8, 2011

Season of sacrifice and torture in order to achieve the ideal figure has started. While some sweat at the gym, another are struggling with starvation diets. The most persistent combine both.

Unfortunately most diets and starvation has just the opposite effect. Initially you will lose the pounds but they will come back soon and again you are at the beginning, often with more pounds before when you started. There are numerous products that are used for weight loss and is more difficult to keep track of all the new products. With them there are drugs that can be purchased in pharmacies. It is difficult to identify what is true and what is marketing trick.

Going through numerous web sites I saw a product that I liked because it supports my idea that I advise everyone and that is that you have 4 meals a day, which are spaced evenly with small portion. The worst you can do is not to eat anything the hole day and only have 1 meal.

30 lbs Overweight? Lose it with SENSA® - Try it FREE! You can buy it in the U.S. market. Here sea crystals are used that give a feeling of satiety at the beginning of the meal, but after a few bites you feel that you aren't hungry. The aim is to adopt the habit of eating smaller food portions that are spaced throughout the day. Try the Sprinkle Diet FREE. Clinically Proven Results!

Sensa is not a drug but a dietary supplement, has no calories and adds to any food. You no longer need a calculator to calculate your calories during the day. Some people have become skilled mathematicians while calculating calories during diets. Forget about any plans you have to eat, when, how and what day, simplify your life because it is already complicated. Stop Dieting and Start Living With SENSA®. Try it Free!

My recommendation would be to drink 3 liters of water a day with moderate physical activity. As for diet I advise Mediterranean type. Most people do not know that many ingredients do not act as you would expect. The point is that on the individual ingredients of food the body reacts badly and causes numerous health problems and weight gain, so I suggest you find out which food ingredients do not correspond with tests for food intolerance. By avoiding certain ingredients in addition to solve health problems, you lose pounds, so eat selected food to loose weight. You might find this idea crazy but try and see for yourself. Finally, when you painlessly remove the excess pounds you need to know that a surplus is always there that does not go away. Effective treatments can efficiently solve this. The whole process can be carried out in parallel with some of the treatments for body shaping. So move yourself and start working on your body and soon you'll see the result. 15% off Coupon for all Sensa purchases: NEWYEAR15OFF. Coupon Expires 2/28.

Revlon Colorstay Eyeshadow

Monday, January 31, 2011

This is eyeshadow that contains 4 shades. It has special formula, long-lasting (up to 12h), does not smudge or accumulates in the folds. Revlon colorstay eyeshadow is enriched with silk micro pigments. It is available in 13 color combinations.

What I liked:
- long-lasting
- nice color combinations
- pigmented shades
- easy to blend

What I didn't like:
- none

12 Hour Eyeshadow Quad

I love these shades, certainly in my top 5! I have two of these pallets (gray and brown shades) and am very satisfy. Eye shadows were purchased over a year ago, I use them every day, and they still look like new. Before I always had a problem with coming up with eye shadow on the crease. Revlon colorstay eyeshadows are really long-lasting, can stay on a hole day and evening. Because of this I would definitely recommend this for everyone. Try it.

Yves Saint Laurent Everlong Mascara

Tuesday, January 25, 2011

Everlong mascara is mascara for eyelash extension. It separates lashes and contains the complex to stimulate eyelash growth. It is enriched with Pro-Vitamin B5 which protects the lashes from drying out. Ophthalmologist tested and suitable for sensitive eyes and eyes with contact lenses.

What I liked:
- adds volume and extends eyelashes
- easily removable

What I didn't like:
- dries quickly
- it should be applied several times for a good effect

Y Everlong Mascara - # 01 Black

This mascara will certainly extend your lashes and give you volume. It is very good for somebody who has sensitive eyes because you can wear it all day and your lashes won't be heavy. Also it is so easy to remove it.

YSL everlong mascara won't last long. Mine dried out for about 3 months so that was disappointing. Also it is very difficult to apply it, you will probably need to apply it more than once for that volume effect. All in all, the mascara is good, but I expected much, much more.

Christian Dior Serum De Rouge

Sunday, January 23, 2011

Dior Serum De Rouge is lipstick and serum with rich, creamy texture. It gives more fuller, softer and sensual lips. Contains hyaluronic acid, mango butter and Vitamin A. It is in the shape of a pen with a click mechanism. It has SPF 20 and comes in a 2g pen.

What I liked:
- hydration
- gives fullness and shine
- easy to apply

What I didn't like:
- price
- quantity
- not long-lasting

Christian Dior Serum De Rouge - No. 910 Mocha Serum 2g/0.07oz

The texture of this lipstick is really beautiful, you can feel that nurtures lips. Packaging really looks great and it is also practical. It has great shades for the day and has some intense shades for evening.

Big minus to this lipstick is the small amount of it, which can easily spend. Also Serum de Rouge doesn't last long. It can stay on for maybe one hour and than just disappears. Because of this his price is really high because you have to put it on more often and therefore you spend it really fast.

- great coverage
- easy to apply
- long-lasting
- gives a nice glow
- easy on the face

What I didn't like:
- non

LancĂ´me Teint Miracle

I really was reborn with this foundation. I don't have clear face and this powder covers all my flaws very good. Most of all I love how easy it is, i don't have a feeling that i have a mask on my face. It gives that natural shine and highlights facial features. It has a gentle, pleasant fragrance. All in all, a great foundation and you should definitely try it.

Clinique High Lengths Mascara

Thursday, January 20, 2011

Clinique High Lengths Mascara is mascara for eyelash extension and volume. Unique "curved" brush covers all the lashes from root to tip.It is suitable for sensitive eyes and women with contact lens (ophthalmologist tested). It has package of 7 ml and is available in 2 shades - black and brown.

What I liked:
- long lasting
- gives a nice volume, curls
- lengthens and separates lashes
- doesn't clump
- doesn't irritate eyes

What I didn't like:
- needs a little time to get used to the brush

Clinique High Lengths Mascara

I have High Lengths Mascara in black color and fills all the features from the descriptions. Lengthens, separates, adds volume, is very long-lasting. The color is intensely black and lasts all day. Doesn't crush and doesn't create clumps - it is really comfortable to wear. Likewise, it is easily removed with the makeup remover and it doesn't leave any color after on lower lid.

In addition to being curved, it is very narrow and long. When I first applied this mascara i poke myself is the eye, but later I got just to the brush and all went smoothly. All in all, I like this mascara. High Lengths Mascara has met my expectations and I would definitely recommend it!
