Video - Charlie Sheen Gets Burnt Bad at the Comedy Central Roast

Monday, September 19, 2011

Charlie Sheen was the guest of honor at his own Comedy Central Roast last night.

As far as roasts go it was one of the better ones, after all, who out there can say they wouldn’t want to see Sheen roasted?

Seth MacFarlane kicked things by making reference to the fact that “Two and a Half” men was premiering at the same time and was showing Uncle Charlie’s funeral and wondering out loud how Sheen had managed to stay alive for as long as he had.

Is it us or does Seth MacFarlane look gayer every time we see him?

Jon Lovitz kicked things off saying Charlie was nothing like the part he played in his show on “TMZ” – and that was his funniest joke.

The rest of his shtick was crude and rude and stale. Comedy Central – Leave Jon at home next time.

Kate Walsh was up next and seemed to be in shock that Sheen was still alive. She quipped that after years of abusing his heart, lungs, and body that the only thing he ever had removed was his kids. Ouch.

Next up was comedian Jeff Ross who toured with Charlie last year as part of his “Torpedo of Truth” tour.

Ross seemed to skewer everybody but Sheen and his jabs were tame compared to others. His funniest jab was, “If you are really winning then this must not be a child custody hearing”.

And then there was poor Mike Tyson. Mike is clearly not comfortable in front of a live audience and his set was pretty bad.

All Mike wanted to talk about was poetry and his secret garden.

Comedian Anthony Jeselnik had one of the best sets. It was well thought out and his delivery was great. It was rude and crude but was funny.

His best line was that Charlie only got on TV because God hates Michael J. Fox. He also said every moment of Sheen’s life looks like the first two minutes of Law and Order SVU.

Steve-O was next and started by telling about locking himself in the bathroom with Charlie and doing 5 grams of Cocaine.

Other than that, Steve-O is the creepiest guy in the World and has had his brain and testicles hit one too many times by heavy objects.

Comedian Amy Schumer was next. Man she sucks. I don’t think there was one funny joke there at all but you can be the judge.

Our hero William Shatner was next. If not for Capt. Kirk himself the show would have been a bore.

Shatner called Sheen a “Mexican” and bestowed his vast wisdom on Charlie while calling home Carlos and plugging Priceline.com.

Next was Patrice O'Neal who started off by calling Shatner an A--hole. He then spent his time railing on everybody but Charlie.

But what he said about the other comedians was pretty funny.

Finally the man of the hour stepped up to give his responses to his roasters.

He said until tonight he didn’t realize how f---ed up he really was and all this time he just thought he was having fun.

So there you have it. The best clips of the evening.

We didn’t learn much more about Charlie, but we did learn that most everybody there besides him seems to be gay.

In Hollywood? Who would of thought!

Two New Charlie Sheen “Roast” Promos Arrive and are NOT Normal!

Tuesday, August 30, 2011

The Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen is just around the corner and two more promos have been released.

The first one shows Charlie on a train, probably because that is how he is going to die on the new “Two and a Half Men” season opener, with his Goddesses, a tiger, and a few other strange characters who wonder if the train stops in “Normalville”.

Sheen gets a sneaky smirk on his face and says, “Honey, we left there a long time ago…”

The music in the background is from the Ozzy Osborne’s “Crazy Train”.

The second spot also shows Sheen on his “Crazy Train” and mocks Comedy Central for attempting to roast him saying that’s like trying to reason with a volcano, or duct tape the wind to the ground.

The Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen gets underway Monday September 19th.

Current roast attendees scheduled to skewer the troubled actor are TMZ's Harvey Levin, Jackass Star Steve-O, Anthony Jeselnik, Mike Tyson, and Jeffrey Ross.

The Roast Master will be none other than “Family Guy” and “American Dad” animator, writer, producer, actor, singer, voice actor and director Seth MacFarlane, who says,

"Charlie is a true icon with a talent that is strong and pure and concentrated into small crystals which can be smoked or eaten."

In an odd irony, Sheen’s roast will air the same night as Ashton Kutcher and company kick of the new Sheenless season of “Two and a Half Men”.

Bring it Warlocks!

Charlie Sheen Roast on Comedy Central – Are We Ready for That? Do We Care? - Video

Wednesday, July 6, 2011

It hasn’t even been a year since our favorite warlock Charlie Sheen melted our hearts by appearing on every media outlet known to man to vent his drugged up ego.

Now, Comedy Central has announced that Sheen will be the focus of their latest comedy roast due to air this Fall.

We’ve already seen the roasts of Donald Trump, Pamela Anderson, Hue Heffner, William Shatner, David Hasselhoff, and others – but is it too soon to roast Uncle Charley?

Normally, Comedy Central selects people who seem to have reached the “D-List” status of their careers and carry tons of public baggage and a wee bit of public disdain.

But what can be said about Sheen that hasn’t already been said?

We have a pretty good idea of how it will go down, and an even better idea how it all came about.

Remember Charlie’s “Live Torpedo of Truth – Defeat is Not an Option” tours he hosted shortly after being fired from “Two and a Half Men”?

Well, good friend and senior roaster Jeffrey Ross was on the road with Sheen and the two developed a routine where Ross roasted Sheen during every show.

Some fans said that portion of his show is what saved it from being a total train wreck.

Since Ross is a big dog at the Comedy Central roasts, it was a perfect fit to have Charlie be the next inductee.

There is also a bit of irony that seems a little bit more than coincidence. The Comedy Central Roast is scheduled to air the SAME night as the new season premiere of “Two and a Half Men” with new co-star Ashton Kutcher.

Call it a jab at “Men” producer Chuck Lorre, or just good marketing, but all eyes will be on the ratings to see who wins the time-slot.

Sheen does however make a perfect roast participant, and we’re sure it will be one of the better shows depending who is on the stage with him.

We’re ready for it, so as Charlie himself would say – “Bring it Comedy Central”
