I'm so excited! My next video in the Sigma Beauty "Beauty Experts" series is up! This is the other video I filmed while in Minneapolis a little while back. :) I had SO much fun working with Sigma on these videos and I'm really happy with how they turned out. This one is called "Daring Coral" and it features the Dare palette and my favorite Sigma brushes, which you can find here. Hope you guys enjoy!
I'm so excited to give my readers a first peek at the three new palettes from Sigma.
I have to start by saying that I'm very picky about eye shadows. But you all probably already knew that...
The packaging, color selections, and formulas are great. They're also priced incredibly well. Only $35 for 8 shades and a dual-sided brush. Not your typical brush that comes inside a palette that you immediately throw out because they're cheaply made, but one that is actually the same quality as the ones you'd buy separately.
**These will be available on June 24th at SigmaBeauty.com** My readers get an even better deal by clicking here and using my Sigma discount code, "TIFFANY2011" to save an extra 10% off anything on the site until June 30th :)
I'm also giving away 13- $100 gift cards to SigmaBeauty.com! All the details are in my giveaway video :) If you win my giveaway that is currently running, you could use your gift card to get all 3 palettes if you wanted! Pretty awesome.
On to the swatches...
Bare Palette
Dare Palette
Flare Palette
I'm really impressed with the formulas of these. I've been wearing them a lot over the past few weeks and I've been so excited about sharing them with you all. I'm definitely planning on doing tutorials with these in the future so be on the look out for those!
Here is a closer look at the brush that comes with the Bare palette. The brushes that come with each type of palette are totally different! I love that.

Because I love you guys, I wanted to do a little something special for you all! While recording my January favorites, I had originally included about 10 minutes of talking (ok, rambling) about a Sigma brush set and holder I had been using during the month that had become a big favorite of mine. Well, as it took over the video (and took it to a whopping 20 minutes...), I decided to throw out the footage and do a separate review. Then I started thinking.... Why not do a little giveaway? I mean it would be awful to review something like that that I love so much without trying to work up a possible giveaway since Sigma has been so generous with giveaways for my channel in the past. So here we are! BIG V-DAY SIGMA giveaway 2011!! haha or something like that... There will be 2 giveaways. Both end on Feb. 14th. All the info you need to know is in the video and described at the bottom of this post. One giveaway will be held from my YouTube channel where I'll be giving away 10 MAKE ME UP sets! The other will be held from my Facebook fan page where one of my fan page followers will win a $100 gift card to Sigmabeauty.com! (read on for more details and rules) Watch the video for a review of my new favorite brush set and brush holder-- The Sigma Make Me Up kit-- As well as a description of the giveaway!

I have been SO excited for these new Sigma brushes for months! Since the MAC 188 and 109 are two of my favorite brushes, I was super excited, and skeptical at the same time that my beloved 188 and 109 could never be replicated. Since I absolutely love all my other Sigma brushes and the quality on them are amazing, I guess I wasn't that shocked that these were no different.
(MAC on left, Sigma on right)
(My MAC 188 had just been washed, so it looks a little more spiky.) Honestly, the only difference I noticed between the 188's were the handle lengths. The Sigma SS188 handle is slightly longer. MAC 188, $34 Sigma SS188, $14 I love these particular brushes for applying liquid foundation or any type of cheek color or highlight.
(MAC on left, Sigma on right) The only noticeable difference between these two is that the Sigma brush is less flat on the top. When used, it feels exactly the same and delivers the same results. MAC 109, $32 Sigma SS109, $14 I love these particular brushes for applying/blending liquid foundation, cream or powder cheek color, contouring, and highlighting.
They've also released a new version of the SS182 brush, now with a longer handle.
Finding quality brushes for affordable prices can be difficult. Recently I was introduced to Sigma, a company that sells high quality face and eye makeup brushes. Since receiving them, I've used every single one and cleaned them as well. They work and hold up beautifully and while they are MAC-comparable, I actually prefer some of them to my actual MAC brushes! These are definitely my new babies. I received the Sigma Makeup Professional Brushes Kit-Complete (with the brush roll), which contains 12 very high quality eye and face brushes. The complete kit with 12 brushes and a very high quality brush roll is $79. You can also purchase the brushes only without the roll for $64, which is great for brushes of this quality. Imagine what you would spend on 12 MAC brushes! This averages out to about $5 a brush. Amazing. I also received the SS182 kabuki-style brush which is a fabulous brush as well and goes for $16.
